Ms. Khalida Bouzar, Director of IFAD’s Near East, North Africa, Europe and Central Asia Division, representatives of PMU and a number of International consultants and experts had visited the targeted districts of the “Livestock and Pasture Development Project” for the purpose to get insight into the achieved results and familiarization with direct beneficiaries. In Tebalai and Tuto villages of Muminobod district Ms. Buzara had seen the results on purposeful operation of provided agricultural machinery and equipment, activities of Pastures Users Union and Women’s group established under the Project’s implementation. Women of given village that were previously housewives had been involved into wool processing activity that is a source of their own income and a base for improvement of their living conditions now. During her conversation with rural women engaged into wool processing Ms. Bouzar has been informed on volumes of receiving incomes, favorable conditions of constructed and rehabilitated infrastructures and their vision on results of problems solutions.
