Contract title: Procurement of agricultural machinery

1. 1.The Republic of Tajikistan has received a Grant No.2000002142 and a Loan No.2000002143 from International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of the CASP, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of agricultural machinery”.

1. 2.State Enterprise “Project Management Unit “Livestock and Pasture Development” (PMU) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Lots as follows: Lot #1: “Procurement of Tractors”; Lot #2: “Procurement of Front loaders, Excavators and Grain harvesting combines”; Lot #3: “Procurement of Tractor trailers”; Lot #4:“Procurement of Engine equipment”, Lot #5: “Procurement of Extension equipment for plowing and cultivation” and Lot #6: “Procurement of Extension equipment for processing and harvesting”.

1. 3.Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures, as specified in the IFAD’s Project Procurement Guidelines, August 2020, and is open to all eligible bidders as per national law of Tajikistan and UN Security Council resolutions. In addition please refer to IFAD’s policy on conflict of interest defines in the Procurement Guidelines.

1. 5.A complete set of bidding documents in English with a translated version in Russian may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 50. The method of payment will be by transfer to the following PMU bank account:

1. 6.Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before April 29, 2022 at 10:00 AM Dushanbe local time. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on April 29, 2022 at 10:10 AM Dushanbe local time.

1. 7.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of: USD 20 100 for Lot #1, USD 11 200 for Lot #2, USD 1 630 for Lot #3, USD 8 400 for Lot #4, USD 3 850 for Lot #5 and USD 8 060 for Lot #6 or USD 53 240 for allBid Securities could be provided in any freely convertible currency at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Tajikistan on the date of March 16, 2022.
